Systems that share information and work for your team.
We connect the platforms you already use and automate the repetitive work between them, so your team spends less time re-entering data and chasing approvals.
The challenge
When your tools don't talk to each other
The cost is usually hidden in hours of manual work.
- The same data is typed into sales, invoicing and accounting separately.
- Reports take days because information must be gathered by hand.
- Approvals stall in email with no clear status or owner.
- A new tool is needed, but it must work with what is already in place.
What we deliver
What Medici Labs delivers
API development and systems integration
Reliable connections between your applications, with agreed data formats, authentication and error handling.
ERP, CRM, finance and operational connectivity
Sales, invoicing, accounting, stock and customer records that stay consistent across the tools your teams use.
Workflow and approval automation
Requests, approvals and notifications that follow your rules, with a record of who did what and when.
Data synchronisation and reporting workflows
Scheduled and event-driven data movement, so reports draw on the same trusted information.
Productivity tools and practical AI-enabled automation
Targeted automation of repetitive tasks, such as document handling and data extraction, with a person reviewing important decisions.
Design
How a reliable integration is designed
Connecting two systems is the easy part. Making the connection dependable is the work.
- Data mapping. Fields are matched between systems and agreed with the people who own the data.
- Validation. Records are checked before they move, so bad data is stopped early.
- Error handling. Failed transfers are retried or flagged, never silently lost.
- Reconciliation and monitoring. Totals are compared across systems, and problems trigger alerts.
Use cases
Typical applications
Examples of what organisations in Kenya and across Africa often need.
- Linking sales, invoicing and accounting records
- Mobile money payment reconciliation
- Connecting e-commerce, stock and delivery tools
- Multi-department approval workflows
- Automated management and compliance reports
- Extracting data from documents and forms
Our view
Integrate or replace?
Not every disconnected system needs replacing. If a tool does its job well and has a usable interface, integrating it is usually faster and less disruptive.
If it blocks the work, is no longer supported or cannot be connected safely, we will say so and discuss the options, including a staged replacement.
Our approach
How an integration project runs
We start with how information flows today, not with the technology.
Understand
Map your systems, data and manual hand-offs.
Design
Agree data mapping, workflows and failure handling.
Build
Develop connectors and automations in stages.
Validate
Test with realistic data and reconcile the results.
Deploy
Release carefully, with documentation and training.
Support
Monitor, maintain and adjust as your systems change.
Our work
Relevant work
Connecting finance and operational systems. A business uses separate tools for sales, invoicing and reporting. An integration layer maps and validates the data and automates agreed workflows, aiming for less manual administration and more consistent records.
This is an illustrative scenario, not a completed client project. Relevant examples are available on request.
